BRIDGE is a new and innovative programme, and ‘state-of-the-art’ knowledge about matters such as career orientation, the involvement of parents, financing possibilities and implementation methods in education – is indispensable. BRIDGE is therefore carried out with the help of a great deal of expertise from advisers, external project managers and intermediary parties. They help schools with the implementation of LOB, connect classes in schools with businesses or organise expert meetings. Other partners help with communication, the writing of project plans or provision of teaching material.
Adequate and appropriate expertise on a wide range of subjects is of great importance in being able to perform things successfully. Tendering processes often take a lot of time, but it is worthwhile to execute them carefully. In that way, you connect the right parties to the programme. The involvement of many external parties also means a great deal of contract management and client consultation. An important point for attention here is to make sure that all the contracted parties are well aware of the whole picture and disseminate it so that a collective programme really is created. Thus it is also important to spend sufficient time and money on internal communication.
